The Water Works Program was initially founded by a company called Helping Hands Program Pty Ltd. As the project grew we felt it should be be a separate independent entity and Water Works Program Pty Ltd was born. Some years later, Helping Hands and Henricks Consulting still lend their resources, expertise and finances to the project even though Water Works is operated as a separate organisation.

Water Works Program Pty Ltd is a registered company within Australia. It is best defined as a Social Enterprise. Our main goal is to maximise our impact in the world by getting involved in and funding life-changing charity projects. Although the company is registered as an ordinary company within Australia there is nothing ordinary about the way we operate. We put social impact ahead of profit and everything we do revolves around maximising our impact in the world.
